Refund policy
MaltiDhar accepts exchanges and issues store credits in accordance with the following policy.
For The Giridhar Collection (pure handloom sarees), exchanges and store credits are offered only in the case of a genuine manufacturing defect or incorrect item delivered. Handloom sarees with natural weave variations — minor irregularities in thread, zari, or pattern that are inherent to hand-weaving — are not eligible for exchange or return.
For The Malti Collection (powerloom sarees), exchanges and store credits are offered within 7 days of delivery for items that are unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags intact.
MaltiDhar does not offer cash refunds except in the case of a manufacturing defect on a Giridhar Collection handloom piece, where a full store credit or replacement will be arranged at no additional cost.
To initiate an exchange or report a defect, please message us on WhatsApp at +971 52 503 6272 within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photographs of the issue, and an unboxing video. Without an unboxing video, MaltiDhar is unable to process damage or defect claims for international shipments.
Items that cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstances: customised or made-to-order pieces, sale items, sarees that have been worn, washed, altered, or finished with fall and pico stitching.
Return shipping costs for international shipments from UAE or GCC to India are borne by the customer, except in the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect where MaltiDhar will arrange and cover the return.
All MaltiDhar orders are shipped from India. Customs duties and import taxes levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer. MaltiDhar has no control over these charges.
